WeRis(H)er Fundraising Campaign Proudly Hosted By Peterson Sisters
WeRis(H)er (pronounced we-rise-Er) is a social enterprise that makes, sells and distributes reusable sanitary pads in Uganda, East Africa, as well as provides quality menstrual health & hygiene education. It also aims to create job opportunities & skills training to youth within Kassanda District, Mubende.
The self-sustaining structure of WeRis(H)er (WR(H) for short) allows for it to be both an enterprise and an initiative. The initiative’s goal is to ensure that every girl in Kassanda District can manage her period with dignity — through access to reusable pads, accurate information, and safe school environments.
